曾为北美三大巨头矿企Hive Blockchain在今日发布新闻稿表示，将推出新的名称「HIVE Digital Technologies」，将Blockchain从原先的名字中撤掉，至此开始全新的战略扩张，瞄准的就是今年全球火热的AI赛道。预计年营收超过1亿美元新闻稿中表示，Hive Blockchain自从2017年以来就投入比特币挖矿产业，目前也不会停止比特币挖矿业务，现阶段只是战略转变，他们认为ChatGPT到Midjourney的AI训练都需要高端GPU的计算，全球企业在适应AI世界的同时，企业也会开始寻求开发自己的AI工具以获得竞争优势。HIVE Digital Technologies未来的主线计划是利用3.8万枚Nvidia GPU集合进行大规模的计算任务，此外，还计划通过出租GPU服务器集合，推出新服务云计算HIVE Cloud，HIVE Cloud的目标是为中小型企业提供一个Cp值较高的选择。HIVE表示他们与Super Micro合作的一批服务器预计在下个月抵达，未来也会有更多的交货消息。执行长FrankHolmes表示：ChatGPT是有史以来增长最快的技术产品之一，我们认为其底层技术——大型语言模型(LLMs)在两个月内吸引了1亿用户已经显示出高度的破坏性。这些LLMs的培训和微调都依赖于GPU。我们相信通过我们的Nvidia GPU卡进行GPU计算的是一个高利润的业务，年营收可能超过1亿美元。目前持有1,957颗比特币据6月份推特贴文，HIVE Digital Technologies在6月共挖出了259枚比特币，平均每天产出8.6枚，截至2023年7月，HIVE Digital Technologies持有1,957颗比特币。HIVE Digital Technologies平均每月的算力为3.38EH/s(全网比特币算力大约为380EH/s)，其中算力包括平均3.212EH/s的ASIC矿机和平均167PH/s的Bitcoin GPU挖矿。值得一提的是，HIVE Digital Technologies的转型是有迹可循的，据先前报导，比特币第四次的减半目前预测将在2024年4月到来，区块奖励也将从6.25BTC(约18.75万美元)削减至3.125比特币(约9.4万美元)在综合考量下，减半后比特币挖矿赛道将越来越竞争，某些矿企的总成本远高于比特币当前的价格，矿业咨询公司Blocks Bridge旗下研究机构The Miner Mag主管Wolfie Zhu表示：对于许多运营效率较低的矿商来说，净利润将变成负值。 . k: a% H) T/ p& o: o, [
