比推消息，韩国执政党共同民主党院内代表金炳基（Kim Byung-ki）正面临辞职压力。多家韩媒披露，他被指在国会推动针对韩国最大加密交易平台 Upbit 的批评行动期间，其儿子却进入竞争对手 Bithumb 实习，引发严重利益冲突质疑。
金炳基的一名前助理称，应金的要求，团队被指示在国会进攻Upbit 运营方 Dunamu，重点指责其市场垄断问题。相关指令据称发生在今年 2 月，当时金炳基仍是国会政务委员会成员，该委员会直接监管国内金融机构和加密交易平台。
调查媒体 NewsTapa 此前披露，金炳基之子在 2024 年 11 月其父与 Bithumb 私下会面后不久，被迅速安排为 Bithumb 数据分析团队实习生。随后数周，金炳基在委员会会议上多次批评一家具有垄断地位的交易平台，虽未点名，但被广泛解读为直指 Upbit。
金炳基还提及该交易平台在反洗钱与 KYC 检查中被发现约 70 万项违规问题，但并未就其他同样被查出问题的交易所（包括 Bithumb）发表类似评论。对此，Bithumb 否认存在任何不当行为，称招聘流程公开透明；金炳基本人亦否认指控，强调其言论只是反对垄断的原则性表态，儿子的就业与其立法活动毫无关系。
