就在刚刚结束的帆船帆板诺卡拉17级比赛当中，他和她的搭档塞西莉亚-卡兰萨成功拿到金牌。

由于前几名的预赛成绩十分接近，在完成比赛之后，所有人都在等待着比赛结果的公布。当得知自己以77分的优势惊险赢得金牌时，兰赫再也无法把控自己的情绪，一把抱住自己的队友，两人相拥而泣，庆祝着这场来之不易的胜利。

那是在2004年雅典奥运会上，当时的兰赫和自己的队友卡洛斯-埃斯皮诺萨合作，在男子托纳多级多体船的比赛当中，为阿根廷赢下了一块铜牌。在2008年的北京奥运会上，他俩再次合作，又一次拿到了该项赛事的第三名。$ ~7 h5 r* }* a

不仅在奥运赛场上有过不错的成绩，他还参加了1985年、1993年、1995年和2004年的和四节帆船锦标赛，4次全部拿到冠军。

2015年，在训练中一直倍感疲劳的兰赫突然被查出肺部癌细胞病变，幸亏发现及时，他在西班牙巴塞罗那市的一家医院接受了左肺切除手术。

在六个月的治疗过程当中，兰赫一直保持着一个乐观的心态。术后仅用5天，他就开始骑自行车训练，不到一个月的时间，他便奇迹般的重返了训练场。

: n! u9 a, _9 n7 } 对于病痛的折磨，他始终抱着一颗虔诚感恩的心，他表示：“幸亏医生及时发现了癌细胞，如果不是我经常路途劳动让身体感到如此疲惫的话，还真不一定能这么早发现癌细胞，我觉得自己真的非常幸运。”
