Goerli 将成为该网络在计划于 9 月中旬过渡到权益证明之前的第三个也是最后一个测试网。
以太坊是按市值计算的第二大加密资产
以太坊距离合并只有一步之遥。最后一步就在几天之后。
根据以太坊基金会的公告， Goerli /Prater测试网部署是在以太坊备受期待的向权益证明过渡之前完成的最终测试，将于下周进行。
像 Goerli 这样的测试网是合并的彩排，它通过将整个以太坊主网移动到测试网络环境来为该事件做准备。Goerli 测试网将是第三次也是最后一次这样的试运行。本月早些时候，Sepolia 测试网顺利启动；6 月，Ropsten 测试网成功过渡到权益证明。
在 8 月 6 日至 8 月 12 日期间，Goerli 测试网计划与其关联的信标链 Prater 合并。主信标链是以太坊的权益证明版本，自2020 年 12 月以来一直与当前的工作量证明以太坊网络并行运行。
合并会将所有以太坊网络活动从其当前的工作量证明链转移到信标链上。如果 Goerli 测试网顺利，以太坊的核心开发者希望在 9 月 19 日左右部署合并。
在网络当前的工作量证明模型中，ETH 是通过一种被称为“挖矿”的能源密集型实践创建的，在这种实践中，所谓的矿工将大量的计算能力用于解决难题，以期获得新的 ETH。
合并将结束 ETH 挖矿的做法，取而代之的是一个过程，在这个过程中，至少 32 ETH 的持有者可以质押他们现有的 ETH 以创造更多。根据以太坊基金会的说法，股权证明模型将使以太坊网络更加环保 99%。
由于 Staking 的做法可能会锁定大量已经在流通的 ETH，因此一些人认为合并将对加密货币产生通缩效应，在需求保持不变或增加的情况下保持较低的供应。
或许正是因为这个原因，以太坊在上个月上涨了约 44%，而比特币上涨了 14.6%。根据CoinMarketCap的数据，今天早上，ETH 的价格达到了 1,784
美元——这是自 6 月初以来的最高水平。
