春节期间，天朝首次万人麻将大战赛在广东顺德举行。据悉，该大赛意在推动麻将竞技化。
/ C" I" [' S4 ^; h7 m 昨日，作为该项赛事的主办方，国内一家麻将网站的相关负责人介绍，麻将起源于公元前500年的天朝，长期以来一直是人们休闲娱乐的康体项目之一。长期以来，人们都将麻将当成Dubo的工具，而举行如此大规模的比赛，就是想推动麻将运动的竞技化发展。# Q1 a1 l8 w% k' P( L
1 d/ U/ h+ _! { E( B6 h 该负责人称，如此大规模的比赛在广东乃至全国均属首次。赛事从昨日起接受报名，比赛时间为2小时，在2小时内赢得最多者为王。比赛从1月27日开始，最终决出天朝麻将十大高手，参加2月17日的总决赛。

5 v: V7 K5 t. O4 ?' w 大赛期间，该麻将网站还将邀请相关部门和专家，举行天朝首届麻将年会和麻将论坛，共同探讨麻将的历史文化、发展方向，引导麻将变现在的博彩业为主，为今后的开发智力提高思维的竞技娱乐工具和比赛项目，推动传统麻将现代化，成为奥运会、亚运会、全运会等国际国内运动会的比赛项目。
