比推消息，据以太坊财库公司 ETHZilla 于本周五向美国证券交易委员会（SEC）提交的文件显示，其通过新成立的子公司 ETHZilla Aerospace LLC 以 1220 万美元购置了两台 CFM56-7B24 型航空发动机。
文件显示，这两台发动机目前已出租给一家大型航空公司，ETHZilla 聘请了 Aero Engine Solutions 公司进行日常管理并支付月费。交易包含买卖期权协议：租赁期满时若发动机保持完好状态，任何一方均可要求对方以每台 300 万美元的价格进行买卖。
这一非常规操作背后，是过去数月加密货币市场震荡下行给数字资产资管公司带来的持续压力。许多去年积极募资囤积代币的上市公司，当前股价已大幅低于其账上加密资产的净值，导致它们难以募集新资金。ETHZilla 自身曾在去年 10 月抛售价值 4000 万美元的 ETH 以实施股票回购计划，随后在 12 月又减持 7450 万美元 ETH 以偿还未偿债务。其股价自 8 月峰值至今已暴跌约 97%。
不过，购置航空发动机也可能与 ETHZilla 将现实世界资产（RWA）代币化上链的规划相关。该公司周三曾表示，其正在构建跨资产类别、具有可预测现金流和全球投资者需求的可扩展代币化管道，预计将在今年第一季度推出首批代币化资产产品。
